Description
Compiled by Thomas Innes and enumerated by Richard Power at a request by William Tighe of Woodstock Estate, Inistioge, The 1831 Census is regarded as the second census of Ireland.
With previous iterations of a pre-famine census having been lost in a fire in 1922 in the Public Record Office, the 1831 Census of Woodstock Estate remains steadfast in its accuracy and detailed information.
