A Murder of Crows (2011) by Mike Kenny
A Murder of Crows is a dynamic and theatrically exciting work for children aged 8 and over, based on the classic tale of Hansel and Gretel. The play explores themes of famine, family loyalties and personal growth.

Six actors weave a gothic story of two children’s journey from abandonment and fear to ultimate survival, seen from the quirky perspective of a chorus of raucous and garrulous crows, whose boisterous antics will delight children.

For children aged 8 and older.

The Bus follows the progress of a boy as he familiarises himself with the politics of the school bus and learns for himself the rules of survival, and acceptance.

This is an ensemble piece with seven actors playing multiple roles. The production zings with explosive energy and breathtaking physical hijinks.

While the play specifically reflects the child’s world, its universal theme makes it relevant to all ages.

"You will be hard-pressed to find a more energised and boisterously funny show for children this year" - The Irish Times

TOUR 2008: Watergate Theatre, Kilkenny; Backstage Theatre, Longford; Glór, Ennis; Civic Theatre, Tallaght; Mullingar Arts Centre; Town Hall Theatre; Dunamaise Arts Centre, Portlaoise; Draíocht, Blanchardstown; Hawk's Well Theatre, Sligo; An Táin, Dundalk; Íontas, Castleblayney; Pavilion Theatre, Dun Laoghaire; Garter Lane, Waterford; Siamsa Tíre, Tralee.
