A time to remember - Covid
A time to remember - Covid

I have to say, I am in total awe and gratitude for the care being taken of me and my generation. The library service knocking on my door. I am healthy and strong. I have a cosy safe home, my pension being paid weekly, with offers of help coming daily. And I am appreciative and grateful for all that.

And all I am being asked to do is, stay safely inside in my home, for a short while.! What a small price to pay for the "wearing of the Green Jersey". What about the people who have NO homes, parents in a small space with growing children, single parents etc etc.

All the front- line workers and countless volunteers, all trying to make life a bit easier for others. That is real heroism.

To all mothers struggling daily, and sometimes feeling " I'm not doing it right or good enough", I say, you are doing YOUR best, and that's good enough. And may you be blest with quiet confidence, that the Universe will guide you and mind you.

So…......c'mon oldies, familiarize yourself with the serenity of stillness, and by the very miracle of your Being. We can all learn to use this pandemic as a light to illuminate new qualities that will emerge in us all. We CAN do it. We are Strong, and Brave and resilient.

Alice is 12 and a half years of age and it bothers her to be thought of as a child.
