The winning entry for the junior section came from Patrick Gallagher of Clara N.S., who presented a high-quality project about a local cottage ‘frozen in time’ entitled ‘Tony’s Cottage’. It was a joy to be taken by Patrick through the site. Among the indoor items were a churn for making butter and an old shoe ‘last’ used by Tony for repairing shoes. Outdoor machinery included a plough and a stone roller for flattening cattle tracks after the winter.
